Scouts BSA Conservation District Award Program

All Scout BSA members that reside within Northumberland County are eligible to earn this award.

Did you know the Northumberland County Conservation District has a Scouts BSA Conservation District Award program?  All Scout BSA members that reside within Northumberland County are eligible to earn this award. 

To earn the award Scouts BSA members must earn at least 3 conservation-related merit badges and complete a service project that is at least 4 hours in length.  Once the requirements are met the Scoutmaster of the unit can fill out and submit the award application which can be obtained at the Conservation District Office located at 441 Plum Creek Road, Sunbury or online.

All recipients of the award will receive a patch and a certificate which will be handed out at the Northumberland County Conservation District’s annual awards picnic in August.  To receive the award at the picnic applications must be received by July 1.  For more information on this award please contact John Blasius at the Conservation District by phone (570) 495-4665 or by email at jblasius@nccdpa.org
